Morning all!
It's time for our new challenge at CAS - Colours and Sketches and this week it's a colour challenge.
My friend asked me to make a birthday card for her husband, but she had absolutely no theme for me to work with so I had complete free reign! So I borrowed the gorgeous stamp set Wetlands from Jen and here is what I made...
I have always admired the way this stamp has been used so I don't really know why I haven't bought it! I thoroughly enjoyed making this card!
I sponged Marina Mist for the water and Pear Pizzazz for the grass. The birds and grass were stamped using Chocolate Chip, then I sponged the goose with a little more Chocolate Chip.

I love it Lizy! Did you see my version on http://www.stampmydream.blogspot.nl/2014/01/schilderstape-techniek-verder.html. xoxo Maaike
ReplyDeleteLooks lovely Lizy, men can be hard to make cards for and it's harder without a theme, but you ROCKED IT! ;)

This is one of my fave sets, especially for male cards, and you've created a beauty. These colours are perfect for it.

Beautiful card Lizy!! :)
ReplyDeleteI love the way you included both the goose and water birds. I love this set but have never put both on one card. I also like the way you used the photos of the product to link to your store. I'm a demo also and always just use part numbers, this is so much nicer. You have a very nice blog!
ReplyDeleteWonderful card, Lizy! Love the scene and the stripe paper!
ReplyDeleteYou've made this scene look so peaceful. At least I imagine it as being peaceful - the goose's beak is closed so that must mean she's not honking, LOL! ;) I love the twine and the softly distressed edges, too.
ReplyDeleteBeautifully done. Love all of the details in this card.
ReplyDeleteI love this set so much - you have made a beautiful card with it Lizy - Jacqueline xx
