Rainbow Zoo Babies!

Helllooo!
How was Saturday for you? I spent much of it crafting, in between playing games with Keiran, so I actually got quite a lot done, for a change!

Here is one of the cards I made....

As you can see, I have gone a bit crazy with the papers and the colours! I tend to be more CAS these days, but I just really liked the way these 3 papers from the I Am Me Designer Series Papers went together!

The stamps are all from Zoo Babies and I inked them using my Stampin' Write Markers so I could match the colours to the papers. I particularly love the zebra!

Supplies
Stamps - Zoo Babies
Ink - Coastal Cabana, Real Red, Calypso Coral, Basic Gray, Crushed Curry (all Stampin' Write Markers)
Designer Series Paper - I Am Me
Other - Regals Buttons, Pool Party Baker's Twine, Pool Party Satin Ribbon

Don't forget, if you place you order before midnight next Friday 13th September, you can use the hostess code

MAXYUMSP

and I will randomly select one of you to win all the hostess credits that are earned! Visit my store to place your order before it's too late!

Challenges
Hmmm well....off to church now, then I wonder what today will bring? :) Have a good one!

A quick card...

I have a pretty quick card for you today...my mojo was missing a bit last night so this is the best I can muster! Hopefully I will be feeling more creative today!

2 stamps sets, two colours, quick birthday card! What do you think of the 2 colours together? They are vibrant but I think you could get away with giving this to a guy.

Supplies
Stamps - Morning Post Alphabet, Happiest Birthday Wishes (retired hostess)
Inks - Crushed Curry, Bermuda Bay

Challenges

Did your little ones get through their first day (back) at school yesterday? Keiran was tired when he finished and didn't want to talk about it much at first, but he soon livened up and he seemed to enjoy his day!
Have a lovely Wednesday, and hopefully I will have something special to show you tomorrow... ;)

Washi Tape for Less Is More, finally!

Good evening!
Gosh I can't get used to blogging at night! I hope to be back into my regular morning posting as of tomorrow.

But for tonight I have for you my entry into this week's Less Is More challenge, which is to use Washi Tape. I've actually made 2 cards, but I'm not sure how happy I am with the first one yet, so I am posting the second one...

I have used a Crushed Curry card blank and some of the Washi from the Gingham Garden set. The butterfly is created by placing strips of Washi onto card, then punching the butterfly out using the Elegant Butterfly punch.

The sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Sentiments stamped in Strawberry Slush. I finished with a Strawberry Slush doodled border and a Crushed Curry Candy Dot...the first one I have used!
Can you just about make out the slight shimmer of the butterfly? That's from the lush Washi Tape!

Supplies
Cardstock - Crushed Curry, Whisper White
Stamp - Teeny Tiny Sentiments, Papillon Potpourri
Punch - Elegant Butterfly
Ink - Strawberry Slush
Other - Gingham Garden Washi Tape, Candy Dots

Thank You!

Good morning!
Ok, so it is Saturday morning and I haven't made a card for Less Is More! There is a very good reason for this...I have been on holiday this week, and we come back later so I will have to make my card tomorrow!

I have made a card for you to see though....

This is the little Thank you card I made for the members of my Stampers 6 club this month.

I used one of the smaller Labels Collection Framelits to cut the card shape, then stamped it with the flourish from Happy Day, the sentiment from Express Yourself, and the butterfly from the gorgeous Best Of Butterflies. I used Basic Gray, Crushed Curry and Coastal Cabana inks...a lovely combination I think!

Supplies
Stamps - Happy Day, Express Yourself, Best Of Butterflies
Ink - Basic Gray, Crushed Curry, Coastal Cabana
Dies - Labels Collection Framelits

If you would like to order any of these lovely Stampin' Up! products, please do contact me...I would be very pleased to help!

Thanks for stopping by today and see you with my LIM card sometime tomorrow or Monday!

Flower Garden and creative way to make a shape without a framelit!

Morning all!
Not fed up of the heat yet? I certainly am not lol!

So here is another card I made at Jen's on Saturday...

It was my first time playing with this gorgeous new set, Flower Garden. (yesterday's card was the second play lol) I love flowers, and any way to use a stamp and punch combo is always going to be a winner with me!

Isn't it gorgeous? I am particularly loving this colour combo too! The stripe under the panel was done by rolling my Blender Pen onto the Crushed Curry ink pad then swiping it across my card.

Oh, speaking of the panel...have you seen the shape of it? Want to know how to create it without a die?? Simple really...I cut my panel out, then I placed the rounded edge of one of my ink pads along the edge of it, drew round it then snipped it using my super sharp Paper Snips! I finished it by using my distressing tool.

Supplies
Stamps - Flower Garden, Fabulous Phrases
Ink - Basic Gray, Soft Suede, Crumb Cake, Crushed Curry
Tools - Blender Pen, Paper Snips, Stamp-a-majig, Distressing Tool

If you would like to order any of the products I have used, or any of the other fabulous new products, please do contact me and I will be very happy to place your order for you.

Please click on the catalogue link on my sidebar to browse the yummy new catalogue, or for £4.95 inc. p&p I can send you your very own copy to drool over and write your wishlist in!

Challenges

I have the day off today, but it's not going to be a relaxing one lol! I have the school run, a doctor's appointment, have to get a parcel to the courier's, gym, shopping, school run, swimming....it'll all get done eventually! I hope your day is slightly less hectic!
