A quick card...

I have a pretty quick card for you today...my mojo was missing a bit last night so this is the best I can muster! Hopefully I will be feeling more creative today!

2 stamps sets, two colours, quick birthday card! What do you think of the 2 colours together? They are vibrant but I think you could get away with giving this to a guy.

Supplies
Stamps - Morning Post Alphabet, Happiest Birthday Wishes (retired hostess)
Inks - Crushed Curry, Bermuda Bay

Challenges

Did your little ones get through their first day (back) at school yesterday? Keiran was tired when he finished and didn't want to talk about it much at first, but he soon livened up and he seemed to enjoy his day!
Have a lovely Wednesday, and hopefully I will have something special to show you tomorrow... ;)

More Beads for Less Is More

Good morning!
I have another card here for the Less Is More Beads challenge. As I have mentioned before, I am using up bits that are on my desk and this is made using a strip of card I had stamped with the Stampin' Around Very Vintage Wheel, but it hadn't quite stamped properly....

So I cut it up and arranged it like this and added beads around it.

The sentiment is from Happiest Birthday Wishes.

Supplies
Stamp - Stampin' Around Very Vintage, Happiest Birthday Wishes
Ink - Cherry Cobbler

Less Is More - One Layer Spots and Stripes

Good morning!
I have a lovely weekend off, to spend with Keiran, and I am really looking forward to it! I have a new washing machine coming at some point this morning, then we're off skating!

But before all this, I have of course, peeped at the challenge at Less Is More and made a card for, it, though this one was a little tricky to execute! It involves masking, and that's not something I do a lot of!

I stamped my sentiment first, then stamped again cut it out, and laid it over the sentiment on the card. I then stamped the spots and then the stripes, using my Stamp-A-Majig for each stage.

I finished with 4 tiny gems. I usually use an odd number of gems, but anyway I put them made it all look off centre!

Supplies
Cardstock - Whisper White
Stamps - Happiest Birthday Wishes (H), Solid Stripes, Dot, Dot, Dot
Inks (Markers) - Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake, Daffodil Delight, Calypso Coral

If you would like me to place an order for you, and ensure you don't miss out on the Sale-A-Bration items, please contact me for details.

Happiest Birthday Wishes!

Helloooo!
How has your Wednesday been? I decided, in my infinite wisdom, that it would be a great idea to move my craft room around! Ooops! Maybe not the best idea ever lol! Anyhow...I did it!

Halfway through...thought I was never going to get through this lot!

But I did, and this was how I thought I wanted it...

...until I sat down to make a card! Didn't like my laptop behind me, so this is how it is now...

I have made a card this evening, and it felt right, so I might leave it like this I think, and just invest in a new, slightly slimmer table for the left. But this is great for now, and hasn't cost anything!

Anyway, now for the card I managed to make after all the moving!

I have used Crumb Cake ink for all the stamping, and finished with a piece of Midnight Muse Stitched Satin  ribbon and a Mini Brad.

The sentiment is Happiest Birthday Wishes Hostess set and the tags are from the Hearts a Flutter set.

Supplies
Cardstock - Whisper White
Stamps - Happiest Birthday Wishes (Hostess), Hearts a Flutter
Ink - Crumb Cake
Ribbon - Midnight Muse Stitched Satin
Other - Mini Brad

Less Is More - Music...done it!

Hello again!
Ok, so my challenge this week was to create a one layer card for the Less is More challenge, with the theme of

MUSIC

Easy, you may think? Hmmmm yes, ordinarily. But I have the problem of not having ANY music themed Stampin' Up! products, so this involved a little thinking out of the box...

I though this stamp's wording sounded like the 'Happy Birthday' song, so I used that for the inspiration.

I then googled music notes and copied a few by hand. {Please don't shout at me if they're wrong...I have no idea lol!}

I chose the colours to go with the challenge at Dynamic Duos this week...

Products used
Cardstock - Whisper White
Stamps - Happiest Birthday Wishes
Ink - {markers} - Pool Party, Pink Pirouette
Tools - Simply Scored

If you would like any gorgeous Stampin' Up! products, please do contact me on 07915 698577 or email me at lizygreen@aol.com

Ok it's time for tea, then DVD and popcorn! :)
Bye for now!

A Breath of Spring!

Good afternoon!
Sorry I've been a little absent...I just have been busy and a little under the weather again. But I feel much better now, so here is a little card I have just made to show you using some new stash!

I am very excited because the new Spring/Summer catalogue is almost out and nothing makes a crafter feel more excited than new goodies!

So here is the card...

I have used the new Honeycomb embossing folder, from the Spring/Summer catalogue, and the tiny flower stamp is part of a Sale-A-Bration set, free when you spend £45!! How awesome is that?! The larger flower across the centre of the card is from the Ornament Keepsakes stamp set from the Christmas catalogue...it's your last chance to get your hands on this gorgeous set as the catalogue finishes at the end of January.

A closer look...

The sentiment is part of a retired hostess set and I cut it out using Word Window.

Supplies used;
Cardstock - Whisper White, Certainly Celery, So Saffron
Markers - So Saffron, Certainly Celery
Stamps - Madison Avenue (SAB), Happiest Birthday Wishes, Ornament Keepsakes.
Embossing Folder - Honeycomb
