Pretty Poppies

Hey all!
Hope you're having a nice week? I am!

Here is a card made with another one of my new stamps. It's called Pleasant Poppies, but I prefer 'Pretty Poppies' as they really are very pretty!

I stamped mine in Poppy Parade (what else??) and Old Olive inks then coloured them by using one of my blender pens to added soft layers of colour direct from the ink pad.

Supplies
Cardstock  - Riding Hood Red, Whisper White
Stamps - Pleasant Poppies, Petite Pairs
Ink - Poppy Parade, Old Olive
Punch - Scallop Trim Border
Ribbon - Lucky Limeade Ruffled Edge

Mittens!

Good afternoon!
I have a super quick card to show you before I head off to visit my parents in Huddersfield...

I haven't made many Christmas cards yet this year, and with it still feeling wintery with the weather, I think I got inspired lol!

Quite simply, this is made using the Make a Mitten stamp set, and the Nicely Knit Stampin' Around Wheel...first time I used it! The sentiment is.....yup! Teeny Tiny Sentiments! All the stamping is done with Riding Hood Red to give a Nordic feel.

Supplies
Cardstock - Whisper White
Stamps - Make a Mitten, Teeny Tiny Sentiments, Nicely Knit Stampin' Around Wheel
Ink - Riding Hood Red

I am entering this into the challenge at Crafting with Connie And Mary this week, which is this fab sketch...

A card inspired by another!

Good evening all :)
I have a card here that I've made for the Colour Q challenge. As soon as I saw this colour combo, and the stunning card made by Sylvia, it inspired me to CASe her card.
So here is my card...

A closer view

And here is Sylvia's card...

Isn't it just stunning??

I used similar techniques to Sylvia too, including stamping and embossing my image before colouring with my Stampin' Up! markers. A little trick I discovered whilst colouring...if you don't have a watercolour blender pen, try spritzing a little water onto a tile or some acetate, and dip your coloured marker into the water before colouring. Then, as the water wears out, the colour gets deeper, so creating some shading.

Supplies used
Cardstock - Whisper White, Crumb Cake
Stamps - Elements Of Style
Markers - More Mustard, Old Olive, Riding Hood Red
Embossing Folders - Adorning Accents Folders, Perfect Polka Dots
Dies - Labels Collection Framelits, Adorning Accents Edglits
Other - Versamark Embossing Pad, Stampin' Emboss Powder; Clear
