A Happy Valentine!

Hellloooo!
How are you?

I had quite a productive evening yesterday, making some commissions, and a card to show you today. The commissions will be revealed at some point next week.

Here is today's card...

This card has gone quite out of my comfort zone...Designer Series Paper & coloured card blank...not something I use a lot of, but I think I like it!

The DSP is the lovely Fresh Prints and I die cut the strip in the middle and added a die cut heart from another design, all mounted on a strip of Pool Party cardstock. I added a Candy Dot and a sentiment from Teeny Tiny Sentiments.

You have a fabby day and I'll see you tomorrow!

Petite Petals Get Well Wishes

Good morning!
I have another card to show you using the lovely new upcoming Petite Petals plus the matching punch...I think this is going to become a firm favourite with me!

I used a Tangerine Tango card blank and Some DSP from Retro Fresh...another new product! These will be available from 28th January....remember where you saw them first! ;)

I stamped the flowers in Peach Parfait (ret) and Tangerine Tango and the branches were punched from Soft Sky using the Bird Builder punch. The sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Sentiments.

You can buy all the current items I have used here direct from my online store.

I am starting a brand new Stampers 6 club on the 30th January, details of which can be found here. If you join you will have 3 months' opportunity to enjoy the benefits of the Sale-a-Bration promotion, and with the brand new Spring/Summer catalogue released at the same time, I'm sure you will get yourself some wonderful products for free! Spring/Summer sneaky peeky!

Hello all!
Well things are feeling a bit more back to normal now after convention! There were so many gorgeous products revealed to us...I can't wait for you to see the Sale-a-Bration and Spring/Summer catalogues this year....so soft and pretty!!
So here is something I have made using some of the lovely new stamps...

Isn't it stunning?? This is Language of Love. The large heart works with the Hearts Framelits and the smaller hearts work with the Small Heart Punch.

I punched a couple of the hearts out and raised them up, and stuck another couple inside the card, can you see them?

I have a feeling I will be using this set an awful lot! There are more stamps in this set...I will show you another day! ;)

I hope you're having a good week!

A Male Butterfly?

Good morning!
I love Saturday mornings! You know why? Less is More challenge gets me up and at 'em! And this morning is no exception! The fab challenge for this week is...

Use Designer Paper In A CAS Way

I don't use designer paper enough...I have tonnes of it lying around, so this could be the way forward...

I have used the Modern Medley DSP for my card and inked the edges using Cherry Cobbler and Chocolate Chip. I placed it under my aperture, cut using the Ovals Framelits.

The butterfly (or is it a dragonfly?) is from Best Of Butterflies and after I inked it with Cherry Cobbler, I then stamped it off 3 times onto scrap paper, then inked it with Basic Black before stamping. It has given a slightly red/brown colour. The sentiment from Teeny Tiny Wishes was inked the same way, then stamped into place using my Stamp-a-Majig.

I think this is the first time I have used a butterfly stamp set to make a male birthday card!

I have a busy day of card commissions and dog walking today...what have you got planned? Whatever it is, enjoy!

An embossed get well card

Hello!
I had a little play with a colour combo I have never thought of, thanks to the Colour Throwdown challenge this week :)

I embossed a piece of Pool Party card with my not very often used Houndstooth EF... I really should use this more often!

The flower is from the Flower Shop set, stamped in Night Of Navy, and punched with the Pansy Punch. The Chevron Ribbon is Calypso Coral and the sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Sentiments, stamped in Night Of Navy and cut out using the Word Window Punch. I finished with some silver glass glitter in the middle of the flower for a bit of sparkle.

So what do you think of the colour combo? I think it has a nice, fresh feel to it!

Supplies
Cardstock - Pool Party, Whisper White
Stamps - Flower Shop, Teeny Tiny Sentiments
Punches/Dies - Word Window, Pansy Punch, Circles Collection Framelits
Other - Chevron Ribbon, Silver Glass Glitter

If you would like to buy any of the products I have used today, you get them direct from my online shop, or pleased do feel free to contact me to place your order!

Lots of butterflies!

Morning all!
I have a card that isn't a thank you card for a change!

I have used one of my all time favourite stamp sets, Papillon Potpourri for this card, stamping the butterflies onto vellum, in Pool Party and Midnight Muse. I also used one of the Best Of Butterflies as it goes with the Elegant Butterfly punch too.

The sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Pairs and is also in Midnight Muse. The aperture was cut using the Chalk Talk Framelits. I think it really makes the sentiment stand out, don't you? I have CASEd the idea from Margaret and this card. It is something I have done in the past but sometimes you just need reminding of different techniques, especially when there really are so many out there!

Supplies
Cardstock - Midnight Muse, Pool Party, Whisper White, Vellum
Stamps - Papillon Potpourri, Best Of Butterflies, Teeny Tiny Sentiments
Ink - Midnight Muse, Pool Party
Tools - Simply Scored

Guest design for Less Is More!

Good morning LIMettes!
I have exciting news! I have been asked to guest design at Less Is More while Jen takes a couple of weeks off! I am thrilled to have been asked, and I only hope I can do the challenges justice!

This week's challenge is

FELT

It's a while since I have used felt, but I have made a couple of cards for you to see.

This first one is made using some felt which looks a lot like the colour Raspberry Ripple, and it looks lovely teamed with the sparkly black felt. I used the Dress Up Framelits to create a little dress and cardigan. The embossing is done with the Perfect Polka Dots EF, and the sentiment is from the hostess Express Yourself stamp set.

My second card is created by stamping the Festive Flurry stamps in Silver Encore onto white sparkly felt, then cut it out using the matching framelits. (these stamps and framelits are available as a bundle with a 15% discount) The sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Sentiments, stamped in Silver Encore, and the papers are the Winter Frost DSP. I finished with a super sparkly Frosted Finishes Embellishment...these are stunning in real life!

Challenges
CASE Study - #158 (first card)
A Random Thursday - #15 (second card)

I hope you like my cards...what will you create?

Quickie Christmas

Hi there!
How are you all? My car had her MOT yesterday, and she passed with no trouble at all! Phew...another year done! :)

I spent all day yesterday in my craft room making a very special card for my friend's nephew, which I will post when I know it's safe to do so, but for now here is a card I can post...

I have used a strip of Season of Style DSP, some Gold card, and the very lovely Christmas Collectibles stamp set. To make the 3D bauble, I stamped 3, punched them with the matching punch, then scored each down the middle. Fold each in half, then stick one half to the next bauble, and then the next.

I finished with a sentiment from Teeny Tiny Sentiments.

Supplies
Stamps - Christmas Collectibles, Teeny Tiny Sentiments
Ink - Gold Encore, Real Red
Designer Papers - Season Of Style
Punch - Christmas Ornament

If you would like to top your stash with some Christmas products like these, please do contact meor why not shop 24/7 in my online shop? You can even win this month's hostess credits, just by using the hostess code on your order!

Get well soon Shelli!

Morning!
Some of you may have heard that Shelli from Stampin' Up! had a nasty riding accident last week, (you can read the full story and leave get well messages here), and she has got a long road to recovery ahead of her. I also know she is going to have the most Stampin' Up! get well cards sent to one person ever! Maybe it should be entered into the Guinness Book of World Records?!

Anyway, I too have made a card to send to wish her well and here it is...

This is made using all colours from the Subtles colour collection. Papers, ribbons and inks.

I have gone for my first effort at a 'shabby chic' style card...not sure if it passes...what do you think? I sanded the edges of all the paper elements and used Core'dinations cardstock for the butterflies.

I added an Antique Brad as a finishing touch. Overall I think it's certainly a pretty card, if not quite Shabby Chic!

Supplies
Cardstock - Whisper White, Core'dinations
Designer Series Paper - Subtles (Soft Sky)
Stamp - Teeny Tiny Wishes, Oh, Hello
Ink - Pear Pizzazz, Wisteria Wonder
Ribbon - Chevron, Stitched Grosgrain (Blushing Bride)
Dies - Ovals Collection Framelits, Beautiful Wings Embosslits
Other - Antique Brads

If you would like to purchase anything I have used here, or would like to know more about the gorgeous products, please do contact me, I am more than happy to help!
