Strawberry Slush Birthday for my Mum!

Hello!
First things first, I would like to extend a very warm welcome to my newest follower, Sid. I hope you enjoy my blog!

Did you all have a nice weekend? I was working for most of it, but I still managed to make this card, which is for my Mum's birthday tomorrow. (Don't worry, she doesn't look at my blog!)

I have used my new stamp set, Apothecary Art, which is one of the 25% off sets, now only £18.71 for a two pack stamp set! You can buy it here.

I stamped the image in Smoky Slate then coloured the flowers and leaves with Primrose Petals and Old Olive. I stamped a second image panel and raised it up on the base image. The paper is Strawberry Slush from the In Colour 2013/15 DSP stack. I finished with Strawberry Slush Ruffle Stretch Ribbon and a little bit of bling.

Today is your last chance to get your discounted stamps so don't miss out! You can order yours here

Challenges

I hope the predicted storm doesn't cause any damage where you are. Stay safe. Even better, stay in and craft!

  5. Hi, Lizy! Your card is so very pretty! I love your interpretation of the sketch! The design is literal, but the elements are so beautiful. I think you made a wonderful choice of background papers. Thanks for slipping this into our mailbox here at 613 Avenue Create!
