Proud DT member!!

Good morning all!
I am super proud to announce that I am now a fully enrolled DT memeber at CAS - Colours and Sketches! Thank you for inviting me to join you ladies...I hope I can do your fab team justice! :)

So here is my card for our challenge this week, which is a colour challenge...

And my card...

I have created an offset heart frame using the Hearts Collection Framelits, and added an embossed panel to the middle using my favourite embossing folder, Pretty Print.

The flowers are from Flower Shop and are stamped in Soft Sky, then cut out using the matching punch. I finished with a sentiment from Teeny Tiny Sentiments and some little pearls.

Supplies
Cardstock - Basic Grey, Cherry Cobbler
Stamps - Flower Shop, Teeny Tiny Sentiments
Ink - Cherry Cobbler, Soft Sky
Embossing - Pretty Print

There's Only One You!

Morning!
Not much time to chat this morning as I'm on my way to work...just thought I would quickly share a card I made last night...

I have tried a couple of things I've never tried before on this card....The first, and most obvious is the frayed ribbon. This is the Two-Tone Ribbon in Pink Pirouette from the Spring/Summer catalogue and it was already a little frayed when I opened it, so that gave me the idea.

The second technique is stitching....actual stitching, with a machine!

I bought the machine 2 weeks ago and haven't had the courage to use it! But here it is...not perfect, but then I'm liking that!

Supplies
Cardstock - Basic Gray, Pink Pirouette
Designer Series Paper - Subtles, Neutrals
Framelits and punch - Hearts Collection, Small Heart
Stamp - Vintage Verses (SAB)
Ink - Basic Gray
Ribbon - Two-Tone, Stitched Grosgrain

I am really loving the grey and pink combo, but then anything with pink is a winner lol!

If you would like to order any of the above items, or get your hands on the retiring products (some colours, watercolour pencils) please do contact me.

Right, I'm off! Have a lovely day!

This week their challenge is

I don't think I've ever made a card in this colour combo before, but I like it!! :))

I used Crumb Cake & Very Vanilla card, Early Espresso Marker and Heart Collection Framelits for my card. Oh and some Very Vanilla Seam Binding.

The sentiment is hand written but inspired by the one from Elements of Style Stamp set. I finished with some tiny pearls from a nail art set.

I have designed my card around this week's sketch at CAS(E) This Sketch.
