A man card! (with glitter!)

Hello!

I have a man card to show you today! It's the second one this week!!

I have used Midnight Muse DSP (from In Color 2013/14) for the background on a Whisper White card base. I stamped Dictionary onto the banner shape using Smoky Slate and added a few splodges of Gorgeous Grunge, also in Smoky Slate.

The sentiment is from Label Love and is embossed with Pewter Stampin' Emboss. I finished with a few stars cut from Silver Glimmer Paper.

Blue Butterflies

Hello!

Oooh it's Thursday...guess what that means?? A brand new challenge at CAS - Colours and Sketches! We have had Christmas off and now we are back with our first challenge of 2014, and it's a sketch...

Here is my card...

 I used Gorgeous Grunge in Tempting Turquoise and Midnight Muse and the sentiment is from Simply Sketched.

The butterflies are from Papillon Potpourri and I used the generational stamping technique (stamping several times with one inking of the stamp).

As I have used shades of blue I am going to enter my card into the challenge at Less Is More.

Well hello everyone!

How are you? How was your Christmas? I hope you had a lovely one and that it was full of wonderful memories!

I had a fantastic time and Kerian had a wonderful time too! As expected, he got a tonne of stuff! We shall be clearing out some of his old toys to make room for the new I think!

I had a couple of hours in my craft room today, whilst Keiran played with his new toys so here is one of the cards I made...

Metallic Gorgeous Grunge and Washi Tape

Good morning LIMettes!

Ooh it's been a while since I fit some early Saturday morning crafting in! This week at Less Is More the challenge is

METALLIC plus ONE OTHER COLOUR

so I have gone for gold and Midnight Muse...

I have heat embossed the Gorgeous Grunge with gold EP, added some of the upcoming gold washi tape and a sentiment from Express yourself in Midnight Muse.

The panel is the matted onto a Midnight Muse layer before mounting to the card.

Lots of butterflies!

Morning all!

I have a card that isn't a thank you card for a change!

I have used one of my all time favourite stamp sets, Papillon Potpourri for this card, stamping the butterflies onto vellum, in Pool Party and Midnight Muse. I also used one of the Best Of Butterflies as it goes with the Elegant Butterfly punch too.

The sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Pairs and is also in Midnight Muse. The aperture was cut using the Chalk Talk Framelits. I think it really makes the sentiment stand out, don't you? I have CASEd the idea from Margaret and this card. It is something I have done in the past but sometimes you just need reminding of different techniques, especially when there really are so many out there!

I hope you're having a good week so far?

I had a very productive day in my craft room last night and made 2 cards! Here is one of them...

I have used the ever inspirational Feel Goods stamp set and I embossed it in Basic Black EP onto a die cut piece of DSP from the lush Print Poetry paper stack. The strips of DSP are also from Print Poetry, which I distressed using my distressing tool, and the card base is Midnight Muse. I finished with some bling!

Need For Speed

Good morning!

Here is a fab male card I've made using Need For Speed....

I have used the trail buggy and stamped it in Midnight Muse. The designer paper is Cajun Craze which I embossed with the Chevron EF. You can just about see it in the photo. I also embossed the Baja Breeze tag using the Houndstooth EF.

Well my cough has well and truly taken hold :( So no gym for me today...yay! ;)

Here is a little card I made last night...

I have used a set I haven't used for a while called Bright Blossoms. It was one of the first sets I bought when I first joined a Stampers 6 club! 

I used my markers to colour the stamp before stamping, then scored a frame round it. The sentiment is from Petite Pairs, and I pierced a border round it.
