A commission 40th

Good morning!
Here is one of the commission cards I made this week.

The paper is my favourite, but sadly retired Twitterpated, I used some Pear Pizzazz Chevron Ribbon for a splash of colour. The flowers are created using the Boho Blossoms punch, and the tiny flower one from the Bitty Punches set.

I used MDS to create the sentiment then added the die cut numbers.

I am going to enter this into the challenge at Atlantic Heart this week...

If you would like to buy any of the products I have used here, or in any of my projects, please do click through to my online shop using the link on my sidebar.

I am starting a new Stampers 6 club in January, just in time for the new Sale-a-Bration promotion, where you will receive free products for every £45 spend! If you would like to know more about Stampers 6, you can read about it hereor feel free to contact me with any queries.

How was your weekend? I had a lovely one, aside from working...I had some crafting time with Jen, introduced a work colleague to some Stampin' Up! goodies (she'd now in love!) and started the major cleanse of my craft room! I am changing it a bit after Christmas so I need to clear out some old stuff first! It could take a while! ;)

Have a fab Monday!

A VERY last minute card!

Hello!
Wow! I had such a productive day yesterday! As you know, I've got a lot of commission cards on order at the moment, but I managed to get 4 of them done yesterday! One of them was a true last minute order...a teacher at school collared me this morning for a card for the school secretary...for end of the school day! It was a good job I was on a day off yesterday!

So here is the card...

I went with my favourite DSP as I find it so easy to work with! So yes, this is Twitterpated again, and this time I used Flower Shop and the Pansy Punch. The leaves are from Secret Garden.

The sentiment is computer generated using the RGB codes for the Stampin' Up! colours. (if you would like me to send you them, please just let me know)

Supplies
Designer Paper - Twitterpated
Stamps - Flower Shop, Secret Garden
Punch/Dies - Pansy Punch, Secret Garden Framelits
Other - Paper Piercing Essentials Pack

A pretty birthday

Good morning all!
This is a little later than usual as I didn't have time to write my post yesterday due to work and a very fun workshop!

Anyway, better late than never!

I have used the gorgeous Twitterpated DSP that I got for a bargain from the Clearance Rack last week! There are still a lot of really lovely items available, including the beautiful Twitterpated and Summer Smooches Fabrics at bargain prices of £2.49 and £2.19 respectively.

I stamped Flower Garden flowers and punched them with the matching punch. I embossed across the middle of the sentiment panel with the Needlepoint Border EF, just to break up the white space a little. The ribbon is Blushing Bride Stitched Grosgrain.

A card for a very special lady!

Good morning!
I have a really feminine, girlie Birthday card for you today. This was a commission for a lady at church who turned 100 on Sunday...yes, 100! And let me tell you, she really does not look a day over 80! She still walks well, without a walking stick, barely has any wrinkles and doesn't even need glasses! One very incredible lady!!

Anyway, about the card...

I have used a bit of the gorgeous, but retired, Twitterpated DSP and teamed it with some of the lovely new ribbons, and the Stippled Blossoms stamp.

The sentiment was created in Word, using the Stampin' Up! RGB codes to get just the right colour (if you would like the codes, please contact me).

Supplies
Stamp - Stippled Blossoms
Ink - Primrose Petals, Pretty In Pink, Pear Pizzazz, Pistachio Pudding, Baja Breeze, Island Indigo, Blushing Bride, Pink Pirouette
Ribbon - Blushing Bride Stitched Grossgrain, Pistachio Pudding Ruffled Stretch Ribbon
Other - Designer Builder Brads

If you would like to get some of the lovely products shown here, or in any of my other posts, please do contact me and I will be delighted to order them for you.

I think this card would have been perfect for my Grandma for her birthday too. It would have been her 95th birthday today and I'm sure she'd have loved a card like this. Sadly, she passed away 2 and half years ago, but she is still missed.
Happy birthday Grandma xxx

Something A Little Different!

Good morning!
I have been busy with commission wedding cards this week, but I am unable to show them just yet, So here is a little something different I made the other week. I have started doing more reading lately, particularly at work on my lunch break, and I was using a blank betting slip as a bookmark lol! (I work in a bookies, I'm not a compulsive gambler!) So here is what I made...

Now, I admit, I have used a retired designer paper and ribbon, but I couldn't resist! I did use the current Woodgrain Embossing Folder and a beautiful butterfly from the gorgeous Best Of Butterflies Stamp set. I stamped it in Blushing Bride and added some nail gems for a bit of sparkle.

I now feel proud to get my bookmark out in public!
Have you ever used something other than a bookmark to keep your page in a book? I used to turn corners down when I was much younger but then I learnt to respect books!

Challenges
I have work to get to now, but hopefully I will be back tomorrow!

Goodbye Twitterpated :(

Good morning :)
Here is a really pretty card I made in an attempt to use up some Designer Papers that are retiring soon...

I have used Twitterpated paper here...such a shame this one is going as it is sooooo pretty!

The doilies are cut out of vellum using Large Delicate Doilies. The Papillon Potpourri butterfly is stamped onto vellum and heat embossed with Iridescent Ice EF. I finished with a few pieces of ribbon.

Supplies
Cardstock - Raspberry Ripple
Designer Series Paper - Twitterpated
Stamps - Petite Pairs, Papillon Potpourri
Ink - Basic Gray, Versamark
Embossing - Iridescent Ice EF
Punches and Dies - Elegant Butterfly, Large Delicate Doilies

Although it's sad that Twitterpated is retiring, it is still available to but until 31st June AND it is reduced! It is now only £4.98 for 12 sheets of gorgeous 12x12in papers! So please do contact me now to order your pack before it's too late!

Isn't it gorgeous??
in fact, whilst I was making this card I decided to use some of the paper for a more 'everyday' item, just so I don't miss it too much!

Yup...that is my mobile phone with it's new look! Like it? I was inspired to give it ago by one of my fellow Demos, Nicky Bailey.

Hope you have a fab Friday...I'm off to work!

A Summer Cycle anyone?

Hello!
Wow! What a gorgeous day we had yesterday! Such a stunner of a day that I even managed to get some sunbathing done! The summer afternoon even inspired me to get in the garage and have a clear out, so a whole car load of Keiran's clothes and old toys...I feel extremely cleansed lol!

Anyway, I also have a beautiful card to show you today, definitely inspired by the lovely weather!

The stamp is the Hostess set Summer Afternoon and  have coloured it with my Stampin' Write Markers. It's a lovely image and can you believe this is the first time I've used it??

I trimmed the bottom of the card with the Adorning Accents Edgelits, then trimmed again and added the extra piece as a detail. If you look very carefully, you can see that I have been playing with a new toy! I got the Colour Spritzer Tool recently so I gave it a go for the first time! I used the Lucky Limeade Marker, which has left a very subtle speckled effect of the base card.
I finished with some Marina Mist Taffeta Ribbon and Twitterpated Designer Series Paper inside the card...pretty huh? :)

Supplies
Cardstock - Whisper White
Designer Series Paper - Twitterpated
Stamp - Summer Afternoon (Hostess)
Inks - Various Markers
Dies - Adorning Accents Edgelits

This stamp set is one of the Hostess sets that you can earn for free with a purchase or a party with sales of £150! To find out more, please do contact me.
