CAS - Colours and Sketches challenge DT card

Good morning!
It's Thursday which means it is time for a new challenge at CAS - Colours and Sketches, and this week we have a really yummy colour combo, courtesy of Patricia.

I really love this colour combo and decided to go for a coloured card blank...seems to be something I'm doing a lot recently!

So I used the Rose Red for the card base, and some of the old Pink Pirouette Two Tone ribbon from last year's Spring/Summer catalogue. I have a fair bit left and thought it would be perfect here!

I stamped the frame and sentiment from the Hostess set Morning Meadow in the three colours, lining it all up perfectly using my Stamp-a-Majig. I finished with bling!

If you like this exclusive hostess set and would like to get your hands on it, there are several ways, and it's easier than you think!

1. Purchase your Stampin' Up! items from my online shop, then enter this month's hostess code and if my monthly sales reach more than £150, you could have the chance to win the hostess credits for the month!

2. Join my Stampers 6 club, starting in December, and you are guaranteed to have the hostess benefits once in the 6 month term!

3. Spend at least £150 with me and all the hostess credits are yours!

4. Book a party with me and if the party sales reach at least £150, you earn all the hostess credits!

If you would like any more information, please don't hesitate to contact me!

Yet another Thank You!

I seem to be making a lot of thank you cards lately...must be the time of year!
I didn't get any crafting done yesterday as I decided to get some much needed gardening done...I really hurt today! But I have just had a bit of a browse and found the challenge at Muse and decided to quickly enter it before I head to work!

I've used the fab chevrons from the Oh, Hello stamp set stamped twice in Real Red and Pacific Point.

The sentiment is from the hostess set, Morning Meadow, and is punch out using the Word Window.

Here is the gorgeous Muse card by Marion Vagg...

Supplies
Cardstock - Pacific Point, Whisper White
Stamps - Oh, Hello, Morning Meadow
Ink - Pacific Point, Real Red
Punch - Word Window

If you would like to purchase any of the products I have used here, please do visit my online store where you will also be entered into this month's Mystery Hostess club for your chance to win this month's hostess freebies!

Alternatively, please feel free to contact me with your order, or any queries you may have.

I am also starting a new Stampers 6 club in December, just in time for Christmas! So if you would like to build your Stampin' Up! stash in an affordable way, whilst still getting hostess benefits, then this is for you!

Gift subscriptions to the club are now also available! You can purchase the 6 month membership for only £150, and I will send you a gift voucher and small gift to give to the recipient, and then all they have to do is send me their £25 order each month! And in one month from the six they will play 'hostess' and receive at least £25 of free products of their choosing!
This really is a gift that keep giving!

What are you up to today? I'm working all day, then if I'm lucky, I may get some crafting done later!
Have a good one! :)

A little thank you

Hello!!
Wow...Monday again already?? Oh well...another one out of the way then eh?! ;)

So this morning I wanted to show you a little thank you set I made for a friend...

I was having a play with My Digital Studio last night, and I had a browse through the available downloads on my Online Shop and I discovered something that really made me smile! As you know, I totally loved last year's colour collections designer papers and was really sad when they retired. Well guess what?? You can buy them as a download for MDS! Yay!! You can even buy them in each colour, rather than having to buy the whole colour collection,  and they are only £1.50 each meaning I can just top up one of the colours I have almost used up!

So I used some of the Wisteria Wonder paper for this set, and layered it onto a Naturals White card base. I also stamped the image from Morning Meadow onto a piece of Naturals.

The flower on the box is also from Morning meadow, stamped in Perfect Plum onto Wisteria Wonder cardstock and punched using the Pansy Punch.

The little box has a little gift inside...

Yup! A candle! Isn't it cute?

This is another Demo's design, and by request, I cannot share the full details, sorry. But I really love these little boxes...I may have to make more of them!

If you would like to download My Digital Studio, please visit my Online Shop...it is available for only £13.95 and you get plenty of papers, stamps, embellishments etc to get you started, then you can start to download all the papers, extra stamps...whatever you need/want/can't do without! ;)

And don't forget to add this month's Hostess Code for your chance to win the hostess credits!

Thank you all for visiting today...time to hit the gym now!

Less is More colour challenge and the first Hostess Code!

Good morning LIMettes!
Oh this morning has not gone well! I got up to make my card, but then when I came to post it my computer decided to restart itself for updates...don't you just hate it when it does that?! Then when it did restart, for some reason Chrome had crashed and I couldn't get any internet at all, so I had to restart my lappy again! Anyway, here I am now! :) The day can only get better right? ;)

Ok so this week the challenge at Less Is More is a colour one, and the colours are

DARK GREEN and RUST

So here is my offering...

Now I really liked Jen's card, so I admit it...I cased it! I used two of the lovely hostess sets; Simply Sketched for the image and Morning Meadow for the sentiment.

I used Cajun Craze and Always Artichoke Stampin' Write Markers and blended the colour on the little birdie with a Blender Pen.

I have a fantastic and very easy way for you to earn these stamp set yourself, without having to spend £150 all by yourself.

I have a Virtual Hostess code that you can use when you place your order, valid for one week only, but after that week, I will draw one of you lovely customers to be the hostess and earn all the freebies, including the EXCLUSIVE hostess items! The more orders I get, the more hostess benefits!

So this week's code is

MAXYUMSP

Simply enter the code at checkout in my store (make sure my name is in the top right corner) and you will be entered to be the hostess for the week! The code is valid until midnight next Friday 13th September, so get in there and don't miss out!!

Thanks for coming to visit today...see you soon! :)

Feel Better Soon

Good afternoon! (or is it evening now?)
I know...a very late post for me. As you may remember me saying yesterday, I had a bad stomach upset....well, it has taken a while to shake it, and even now I'm not convinced it's gone as I keep getting cramps. So I didn't craft anything yesterday, hence no blog post this morning.

I am pleased to say that I do have something to show you now though, that I made this afternoon :) I wonder if I surreptitiously made this for me?! ;)

I have used a couple of lovely stamp sets and a sentiment set for my card. I first of all cut the aperture in the top card layer using a Framelit from the Ovals Collection. I then stamped the oval from Oh, Hello in place on the base card using Lucky Limeade.

My lovely little 'kissed' bird was inked up with Tempting Turquoise, then 'kissed' with the same oval stamp as in the aperture before fussy cutting him out. The sentiment is from Express Yourself and cut out using Bitty Banners Framelits. Isn't that ribbon stunning? That is the new Calyso Coral Chevron Ribbon. I have it in all the colours and it really is lush! I think I shall be using it an awful lot!

Supplies
Stamps - Morning Meadow, Express Yourself (both Hostess), Oh, Hello
Ink - Tempting Turquoise, Lucky Limeade
Framelits - Bitty Banners, Ovals Collection
Ribbon - Calypso Coral Chevron

If you would like to order any of the other fabulous new products, and have the opportunity to earn some of the gorgeous hostess items, please do contact me and I will be very happy to place your order for you.

Please click on the catalogue link on my sidebar to browse the yummy new catalogue, or for £4.95 inc. p&p I can send you your very own copy to drool over and write your wishlist in!

Thank you for bearing with me today...I hope to back on top form tomorrow morning for the LIM challenge! ;)

A new stamp set and some Kissing!

Good morning all!
I had the most fantastic afternoon yesterday with my lovely neighbours and their Italian and Ukranian families! It was a 90th Birthday celebration and we sat and chatted, ate and drank all afternoon! Bliss!

Of course, I then had to make a card for today and I wasn't sure what to make, then I spotted one of the gorgeous new Hostess sets that popped through my door earlier this week!

So here is what I came up with...

This is very simply one of the lovely stamps from Morning Meadow which I coloured with Tempting Turquoise and Real Red before stamping. I then stamped the sentiment from the same set, in Basic Gray, perfectly positioned using my Stamp-a-majig.

The little birdie has been 'kissed'! 'Kissing' is when you ink up one stamp, then 'kiss' it with another un-inkined stamp, before stamping, to create a pattern. My birdie was 'kissed' using one of the stamps from the Hearts a Flutter set. I like the 'feathery' look!

A close up showing the little sparkly finishing touch, along with the paper piercing created using the Paper Piercing Essentials Pack.

Supplies
Cardstock - Tempting Turquoise, Whisper White
Stamps - Morning Meadow, Hearts A Flutter
Ink - Real Red, Basic Gray, Tempting Turquoise
Other - Paper Piercing Essentials Pack

This stamp set is a hostess gift, only available when you spend £150, or host a party with sales of £150 or more. If you would like to find out more about parties, or would like to place an order, please don't hesitate to contact me and I will be very happy to help!

Don't want to hold a party or spend £150? Well there is one other way to have your chance to get your hands on Hostess goodies! If you join one of my Stampers 6 clubs, you will have one month where you play virtual hostess and get a guaranteed minimum of £25 worth of hostess credits, all to yourself! For more information on my Stampers 6 clubs, please email me at lizyshouseofcards@mail.com
(I flipped the sketch...hope that's ok!)

I hope you get to enjoy some sun today, especially if you work all week! I will be working, sadly, but needs must!

Have a great day!
