Sparkly dress up

Evening all!
After breakfast, a long dog walk in the park, lunch, then swimming,  I decided I really wanted to have a play with the All Dressed Up bundle I got in my last delivery...I've used it once last week but I wasn't very happy with it. So with a bit of playing, this is what I've come up with...


I decided I wanted to make a sparkly, girly, pink dress, but I didn't have any pink sparkly stuff. But wait! I have been known in the past to just colour something in if I didn't have the right colour. Sooooo, out came the Silver Glimmer Paper, a Primrose Pink marker et voila!


I have to say, I'm rather loving it and I'm surprised how well the glimmer paper coloured up! I shall definitely be using this technique alot! The tag is made using Pool Party card embossed with the Lacy Brocade folder and the sentiment is cut out using Word Window punch.

Cardstock - Basic Black, Pool Party, Silver Glimmer paper

    I wish I had an occasion to wear a sparkly dress like this! I've colored my glimmer paper before too, but not a piece as large as this! It's AWESOME! So glad you shared this with us at the Paper Players!

    Lizy this is absolutely beautiful! I love that you colored the Silver Glimmer Paper with a marker! I have sponged it before but never thought to use a marker.
