There's Only One You!

Morning!
Not much time to chat this morning as I'm on my way to work...just thought I would quickly share a card I made last night...

I have tried a couple of things I've never tried before on this card....The first, and most obvious is the frayed ribbon. This is the Two-Tone Ribbon in Pink Pirouette from the Spring/Summer catalogue and it was already a little frayed when I opened it, so that gave me the idea.

The second technique is stitching....actual stitching, with a machine!

I bought the machine 2 weeks ago and haven't had the courage to use it! But here it is...not perfect, but then I'm liking that!

Supplies
Cardstock - Basic Gray, Pink Pirouette
Designer Series Paper - Subtles, Neutrals
Framelits and punch - Hearts Collection, Small Heart
Stamp - Vintage Verses (SAB)
Ink - Basic Gray
Ribbon - Two-Tone, Stitched Grosgrain

I am really loving the grey and pink combo, but then anything with pink is a winner lol!

If you would like to order any of the above items, or get your hands on the retiring products (some colours, watercolour pencils) please do contact me.

Right, I'm off! Have a lovely day!

  1. Gorgeous Lizy. Love that colour combo too. Love your sewing. I bought a small sewing machine and did some sewing on my cards. Haven't done any for ages though!

  2. Love the details on your card! I'm a fan of stitching, and it works perfect with the wide ribbon. Thanks for joining SUO Challenges this week.

  4. Brave person to use the sewing machine. I haven't ventured into that world yet!! Love the frayed ribbon and the soft colors you chose. Thanks for sharing your project with SUO Challenges.
