A CAS sketch for Less Is More

Good morning LIMettes!
How are you? We are having a bit of an Indian summer here in Bolton, are you?

Well, on to the challenge at Less is More now, and this week we have a sketch.

Here are my cards...

This first one I've made is using Pleasant Poppies, and I made a frame using 2 framelits.

The sentiment is from Express Yourself.

This second one is made using Christmas Collectibles and More Merry Messages.

I heat embossed the bauble in gold and the sentiment in Cherry Cobbler.

I also heat embossed the edges of the circle panel and the card blank to give definition while keeping the card very CAS. I fussy cut the sentiment to overhang the panel.

Supplies
Cardstock - Whisper White, Crumb Cake
Stamps - Pleasant Poppies, Express Yourself, Christmas Collectibles, More Merry Messages,
Ink - Versamark, Poppy Parade, Old Olive, Basic Black
Embossing - Cherry Cobbler, Gold
Framelits - Circles Collection

  3. Fab cards, Lizy. I love the idea of heat embossing the edges, will have to remember that one. While you're having an Indian summer, yesterday down here in Torquay we were awoken by thunder and lightning at 5am which continued for 3 hours and then rained hard all day! Great start to a week off with my chap! xx
