Marry Me...In Spain!

Here is another commissioned wedding card that has been winging it's way to very sunny Barcelona for a couple who got married on Saturday...I think it is now safe to post a picture!

I have used my favourite wedding stamp set, Marry Me...I wish it hadn't retired! I also used some of the retired Designer Series paper too and the Elegant Lines EF...Why do good things have to go?!

I did use some current products too though! Adorning Accents Border EF and the sentiment is cut using one of the Framelits from the Apothecary Accents collection.

As usual, I made a personalised box for the card too...it's a nice finishing touch :)

I'm off to visit an old school friend and my parents today and tomorrow, but I may be able to post a little something for you still. The sun is back out so hopefully it will hang around again! :)

Marry me!

Hello!
Here is another one of the commission cards I've been working on...

This is almost entirely made from retired SU! products....I bet you have some that need using up too? The only current item is the Apothecary Accent Framelit I used to cut the sentiment!

A short and sweet post from me today...I hope to be somewhat back to normal next week!

Well, as promised, here is one of the commission cards I have been working on...

I made a card, box and matching money wallet for this one.

I made a cake out of embossed paper using the gorgeous but retired Elegant Lines EF. The border punch is Scallop Trim and the sentiment is cut out using one of the framelits from the Chalk Talk set.

New catalogue and NEW Butterflies!!

Hola!
I would like to extend a very warm welcome to Karen and Helen...it's lovely to see you here in my little part of Blogland!

How are you all?
Guess what??? Today is the release day of the BRAND NEW annual catalogue! Woohooo! I can tell you, I am going to be spending alot of time (and probably money!) playing with some of the new stuff!

For now though, I thought I would post the actual birthday card I gave to Jen, and celebrate one of my favourite stamp sets, which, I am very pleased to say, has made it into the new catalogue!

You have probably recognised the stamp as Papillon Potpourri, and the colour as Pool Party, which has also been made a permanent colour!

I embossed the panel using Elegant Lines Embossing Folder, sadly now retired :(

I also made a gift bag for the little pressie I gave her.

Don't they match nicely? Again, I have used vellum for my butterflies...I thing it gives them a certain 'freedom'!

Speaking of butterflies, there is now available a brand new stamp set called Best Of Butterflies!

Aren't they just stunning?? I will be ordering those for sure! They are a bargain at £13.95 for the set!

There is also a huge deal on some of the most popular greetings sets, with 25% off!

If you would like to order any of these, or any of the other fabulous new products, please do contact me and I will be very happy to place your order for you.

Please click on the catalogue link on my sidebar to browse the yummy new catalogue, or for £4.95 inc. p&p I can send you your very own copy to drool over and write your wishlist in!

A different Swallowtail

Hello again!
Well, as promised, here is the card using the Swallowtail stamp in a slightly different way...

I have used shrink plastic on this one and I love it! It really makes the butterfly look so realistic!

The smaller butterfly is from the Papillon Potpourri set. I coloured both using my Stampin' Write Markers and Blender Pens to drag the colour out. Isn't it beautiful? In real life this looks so very real!

Supplies
Cardstock - Basic Gray, Whisper White
Designer Series Paper - Brights
Embossing Folder - Elegant Lines
Stamps - Swallowtail, Papillon Potpourri, Teeny Tiny Sentiments
Ink - Real Red, Daffodil Delight, Tempting Turquoise, Basic Gray

A Little Love & Laughter

Woohoo! It's Friday!
Well that was a short week wasn't it?! Unfortunately I don't get a day off now until Tuesday but I guess that's the price to pay for a Bank Holiday off!

So here is a card that really should not have taken that long to make last night, but somehow it took almost 3 hours! And I'm not entirely happy with it after all that either!

I have used the Love & Laughter set, along with the Elegant Lines embossing folder and the sadly retired I{heart}Hearts stamps and punch.

I used some shimmery card from my stash for this one and made an A5 tent fold card. I also used Pink Pirouette Two Tone Ribbon and Crochet Trim.

Can you see the sparkle on the cake? Wonder how I did it? Well, I dabbed Versamark onto the stamp, then stamped onto Regal Rose, then Pink Pirouette inks before stamping onto my card. I then sprinkled with Iridescent Ice Embossing Powder before heat setting. I think it looks lovely and really does sparkle in real life!

Current Supplies
Stamps - Love & Laughter
Ink - Pink Pirouette, Regal Rose, Versamark
Embossing - Elegant Lines EF, Iridescent Ice EP
Ribbon - Pink Pirouette Two Tone, Crochet Trim
