Anyone for freebies??

Hello peeps!
When I send out my Stampers 6 orders each month, I like to include a little something for them...a small gift and a card, both made by me. For this month the ladies have received this lovely bookmark, along with a card showcasing some of the free Sale-a-Bration items.

The beautiful papers are the Sweet Sorbet paper pack and I have teamed them with a stamped frame from the Your Lovely stamp set.

The little card also uses the Sweet Sorbet papers along with the accessories. I used the Scalloped Tag Topper punch to make the clasp on the card.

Now then, you're probably wondering how to get your hands on these free products? It's simple! For every £45 you spend with me, either through Stampers 6, via my online store or by contacting me direct, you qualify for one of the free items from the Sale-a-Bration brochure! How easy is that?!
This offer is only available until 31st March so don't miss out...get your free items now!

I have more wedding invitations to design this week so I may be busy, but hopefully I will still have time to make something to show you!

Bye for now...

Happy Birthday to us!

Hey everyone!
Well today I am wishing my newest downline, Adrienne a very happy birthday! It's easy to remember as it's my birthday too! Not only do we share the same day, but we were also born the same year! Big one next year eh Adrienne? ;)

Anyway, in our honour, I have made a birthday card....

I have used the new Petite Petals stamps and matching punch bundle, the Flower Shop stamps and matching Pansy Punch bundle and a sentiment from Express Yourself hostess stamp set.

Real Red ink, Real Red Taffeta Ribbon and a gem make this card simple and elegant.
I'm entering it into the challenge at Fusion this week...

Perfect Swallowtail

Good morning!
I have another card made using up something I found whilst re-organising my craft room...

This gorgeous white and Iridescent Ice embossed butterfly has been sat on my desk for probably 6 months, poor thing! I decided it was time to use it, and I wanted colour, so I used a piece of sponge to gently sweep Perfect Plum over the butterfly. I then gently wiped the excess colour off the embossing to reveal the white. Isn't it pretty?

I stamped the background in Island Indigo using Gorgeous Grunge, but as I needed a softer look I stamped off the ink first. I finished with a sentiment from Express Yourself, stamped in Smoky Slate.

I am entering my card into a couple of challenges...

Do you remember that I got stuck in a lift at Ikea on Friday? Well, I had a phone call yesterday from the manager and he apologised most profusely, then by way of compensation, he is sending me and Jen a £100 gift card each! Now I still won't be getting in their lift any time soon, but I will be spending their money! That's my craft room paid for, thank you very much!

See you soon!

My Diary

Hello!
I spent most of yesterday and last night designing and making a card for a commission order. I will blog it later this week, hopefully, but unfortunately I didn't get time to do anything else!

So today, I'm going to show you the diary that I made for myself. I don't know about you but I can't keep track of my life without one and as I made them for my friends I thought I deserved one too!

I used a sentiment from Express Yourself and yes, it is for me! I sometimes need reminding that I am actually amazing, even if only in my own little world! The frame of the sentiment is from Hello Lovely and I punched the panel out with the Decorative Label punch.

The butterflies are from Papillon Potpourri and are punched using the matching Bitty Butterfly punch. I added little bits of ribbon, lace and twine for interest, and part of a die cut from the Lattice Bigz Die.

A quick update on my foot...it was still a bit swollen this morning, and quite bruised, so I decided the gym would not be a good place to go, so I went swimming instead. It made quite a change! I may have to swim more often!

Have a good Wednesday!

A bit of MDS!

Hello!
First of all, I would like to welcome my newest follower, Lorraine! I hope you get lots of inspiration from my blog Lorraine :)

I also must say Happy Thanksgiving to my readers and followers from the US...I hope you have a lovely holiday!

Ok, as it's Thursday, it's time for a new challenge at CAS - Colours and Sketches, and it is also my final week as host for November. This week it's a sketch and here it is...

So my card was one of 'them'! By that, I mean it just kind of put itself together! Don't you love it when that happens?

I used a print out of a Motorcycle stamp from MDS...I am finally starting to love it!

The paper is from Sweater Weather, a great set of papers perfect for men, and the sentiment is from Express Yourself. I used Burlap Trim for a reall 'manly' feel.
