Fireworks!

Good morning!
I took Keiran to a firework display last night....he didn't like it. I haven't taken him for a couple of years as he has never liked them, but I asked him and he wanted to go. Looks like it'll be another couple of years before I try again!

Anyway, over at Less Is More this week, there is a theme that makes you think of fireworks.

DARK BACKGROUND WITH A SPLASH OF COLOUR(S)

So here is my firework inspired card...

I have used the sentiment from Feeling Sentimental and the little snowflake from Warmth & Wonder. The glitter I have used is from my many little pots of glitter I have lying around...tonnes of it! I set it on the card using Heat and Stick Powder...it's brilliant! That glitter is going nowhere!

I hope to get a bit of crafting done this afternoon while Keiran is at a birthday party, so I shall be back with something tomorrow.

Have a great Saturday and if you're going to a bonfire or firework display, stay safe!

C6 Box Envelope for UK sized cards!

Good morning!
Did you see my midnight post? If you did, you'll know all about the brilliant new Envelope Punch board. I promised to show you a fab project using this wonderfully versatile tool, and here it is.

This box envelope is the perfect size for UK standard C6 envelopes and cards.

I made these 4 cards to fit in mine, with 4 envelopes, but I reckon it would take 6, depending how much embellishment you put on them.

I have kept them quite simple and along the same theme, but they are very classy and elegant I think.

Supplies
Cardstock - Pool Party, Whisper White
Designer Paper - Winter Frost, Silver Glimmer Paper
Stamps - More Merry Messages, Warmth & Wonder (hostess)
Ink - Encore Silver, Pool Party, Smoky Slate, Versamark
Embossing - Pool Party Stampin' Emboss
Ribbon - Silver Ribbon
Framelits - Ovals Collection, Labels Collection, Apothecary Accents
Other - Dazzling Details Silver Sparkle
Tools - Envelope Punch Board, Simply Scored, Heat Tool

I have made my first video tutorial for this great little box...
I hope you find it useful...let me know what you think!

Have a lovely Friday!

Warmth and Wonder

Good morning!
How is your weekend going? We're having a fun time with Archie, our holiday dog...he's so much fun! :)

I didn't get any crafting done yesterday so I am posting the card I made for our challenge over at Sketch Saturday.

I used the lovely hostess set Warmth and Wonder for this card. I sponged in some sky using Soft Sky, then masked and stamped the trees. The snow section is 2 cut pieces of card, overlapping then highlighted with Iridescent Ice Stampin' Emboss powder. I mounted the panel onto a Cherry Cobbler card blank.

I finished with falling snow (white gel pen dots), a sentiment and some Pool Party Seam Binding.
