A little set of Sale-a-Bration sneak peek cards!

Good morning! Is it a good Monday morning or are you back at work and wishing you weren't? I am back at work after having this weekend off, which I spent visiting my best friend Sarah and my parents....lovely!

Before I went I had a couple of hours in my craft room and I made these using all new Sale-a-Bration sneak peek freebies! There will be more info on this fab deal later this week!

I have used two of the lovely stamp sets, a new punch and just a few complimentary colours to create this set of cards. They are 10cm x 10cm square cards...aren't they cute?

I used Banner Blast and See Ya Later stamp sets, and Island Indigo, Raspberry Ripple and Pretty In Pink Stampin' Write markers.

The little banners were punched out using the cute little banner punch.

I am entering my cards into the challenge at Less is More, using week 55 - punches or die cuts.

Do you have any plans for today? Apart from work, we may be catching up with another friend too!
Have a lovely day, whatever you're doing!

Sti[ppled Blossoms for the first time!

Good morning all!
How has your week been? Looking forward to a nice sunny weekend? I will be working, but we've had a wonderful week of sunny afternoons after work, particularly yesterday! My friend Emma and Keiran's second cousin Sophie came round for a bbq and water fight! I got soaked and thrown in the pool by Emma's other half Jamie! Much fun!

Anyway, the reason you're here is for my cards right? So here is a card I made the other night for my friend in Holland who sadly lost her Dad in the last week.

I used my lovely new Stippled Blossoms stamps and my Stamp-a-majig to make sure everything lined up perfectly. I stamped the flowers in Pretty In Pink and Chocolate Chip and the leaves in Wild Wasabi.

The butterflies are from the lovely Papillon Potpourri bundle and the sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Sentiments and the new Six Sided Sampler. Did you spot the little butterfly inside the card?

Supplies
Stamps - Papillon Potpourri, Stippled Blossoms, Teeny Tiny Sentiments, Six Sided Sampler

A VERY bright Flower Garden!

Hello!
I have a very bright and cheerful card for you today, to match the weather of late and it somewhat looks like my garden at the moment...Lots of colour! :)

I have used my lovely new Flower Garden stamp for this card and I basically randomly stamped the flowers in Pretty In Pink, Real Red, Garden Green and Summer Starfruit, in that order I think.

The fabby sentiment that suit this card down to a T is from Happy Day, and the pretty butterfly is from Backyard Basics. I added a little paper piercing to the sentiment banner for a little added interest.

Supplies
Stamps - Flower Garden, Happy Day, Backyard Basics
Ink - Pretty In Pink, Real Red, Garden Green, Summer Starfruit
Dies - Backyard Basics
Other - Paper Piercing Essentials Pack

A pink Bundle of Love!

Good morning!
How was the weekend for you? I had a lovely time visiting my parents in Huddersfield, and we went to Shibden Hall Park in Halifax. I haven't been there since I went with school! It was such a glorious day yesterday, I even got quite a bit of colour... I will have a tan this year lol!

I have a card here that I made last night just to wind down a little before the madness of the work week begins again!

I have used the very sweet Bundle of Love stamp set and stamped it in Basic Grey, for a softer look. I perfectly placed the sentiment using my Stamp-A-Majig. The pram is coloured with Blushing Bride and Pretty In Pink.

I the border is created using Scallop Trim Border and I matted it onto Pretty In Pink cardstock. I finished with some Crystal Effects and a lovely little heart button from Bitty Buttons.

Supplies
Cardstock - Pretty In Pink
Stamps - Bundle Of Love
Ink - Basic Grey, Pretty In Pink, Blushing Bride

Get Well Wishes

Good morning!
I really wanted to post a card on Tuesday evening, that I made for an order, but the challenge had closed by the time I had, due to having a bit of a horrible afternoon! I went to the doctors as I have been in a lot of pain with my stomach for a few days, got a prescription, put the meds in the boot, then managed to crack Keiran on the head with the corner of the boot :'( So a trip to A&E so they could glue him back together, and by the time we got home, it was too late for anything! I am very pleased to report that Keiran has had no ill effects from his trauma and my stomach is starting to feel much better!

So before I treat him to a day out at Legoland Discovery, I am going to post a different card that I managed to put together last night...

I have used the Secret Garden Bundle here to make my flower, stamping it in Regal Rose onto Pretty In Pink card.

The sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Sentiments - I think I surreptitiously made a get well card for the both of us lol! I finished with a few beads for the centre of the flower.

Supplies
Cardstock - Pretty In Pink, Whisper White
Stamps - Secret Garden, Teeny Tiny Sentiments
Ink - Regal Rose
Designer Series Paper - Brights
Embossing - Honeycomb
Dies - Secret Garden & Bitty Banners Framelits

Ice Cream Anniversary!

Oooh wouldn't that be great?? If Anniversaries were named after yummy foods instead of paper and wood lol! Ice-Cream, Chocolate, Sugared Almonds, Marzipan....Sorry, getting carried away!

I have another entry into the Less Is More colour challenge this week...

I pierced round the edge of my card first, with my Paper Piercing Essentials pack, then drew along the line to create 'stitching'. I then added my Very Vanilla Seam Binding and a Designer Vintage Faceted Button, with some Whisper White Baker's Twine which I coloured with Pink Pirouette to match my hearts.

I have used the hearts from the lurverly Hearts A Flutter set, and I've stamped them in various pinks. I then stamped the sentiment from Teeny Tiny Sentiments through the middle of the plain heart to look like an arrow. Perfectly placed using my Stamp-a-Majig of course! I raised this heart up for definition.

Supplies
Card Stock - Whisper White, Sahara Sand
Stamps - Hearts A Flutter, Teeny Tiny Sentiments
Inks (markers) - Pink Pirouette, Pretty In Pink, Blushing Bride, More Mustard
Ribbon - Very Vanilla Seam Binding
Baker's Twine - Whisper White
Other - Designer Vintage Faceted Buttons, Paper Piercing Essentials Pack

I'd love to feed your letterbox with some yummy Stampin' Up! goodies, so if you would like to place an order, please do contact me!

Christening #2

Good morning!
It's all bright an sunny here again, although there is quite a heavy looking frost...nicer than rain though!

I am going to show you another of the Christening/Baptism cards I made yesterday.

I have used the Crosses Of Hope set again, and stamped it in Pretty in Pink and Regal Rose.

The embossed strip is left from yesterday's card, and I stamp my sentiment perfectly in place using my Stamp-a-Majig.

Supplies
Cardstock - Whisper White
Stamps - Crosses Of Hope
Ink (markers) - Regal Rose, Pretty In Pink
Embossing Folder - Lacy Brocade

Christening card

Good evening!
I wasn't going to post this until tomorrow but I just notice the challenge at Freshly made sketches runs out shortly! So I had better get it linked up quickly!

I realised whilst on my stall at the weekend that I only have 2 christening/baptism cards left so I decided to make a few today, with my new Crosses of Hope set.

For this first one, I stamped the cross in embossing ink and embossed in white. I like the subtle effect. I embossed the panels either side and added some pink organza ribbon from my stash.

A close up of the cross...

It's tough to get a good photo of white on white embossing, but it's really pretty! I finished with the sentiment and some nailart gems.

Supplies
Cardstock - Whisper White
Stamps - Crosses Of Hope
Ink - Embossing, Pretty In Pink
Embossing Folder - Lacy Brocade

I would love to place an order for you...please contact me and I will be more than happy to help!

Less Is More Colour Challenge

Good Morning!
I'm excited this morning because it's my first market since December...I hope it's a busy one!

But quickly, before I go, I want to share this card I have made for the Less Is More colour challenge this week...

I have used the stunning Secret Garden set (again!) and stamped it with More Mustard, Pretty In Pink and Pink Pirouette markers and used the matching Framelits to cut them out. The embossing was using the free Vine Street EF from the Sale-A-Bration promotion, and then I colour the inside of the folder using Sahara sand and ran the card through the Bigshot again.

The sentiment is Teeny Tiny Sentiments.
I am also entering this into the sketch challenge at CAS(e) This Sketch, which was on my screen when I opened my laptop this morning!

Ok I must dash! Have a lovely day! At least the sun is shining here... :)

Cakes and a card!

Morning!
Well I had quite a busy day yesterday, as predicted, but very productive! Keiran and I made some flapjacks and a fat free, sugar free banana and sultana loaf...

mmmmmmm! I've made them for my guests at my Stampin' Up! workshop on Sunday...they keep well and really improve with keeping :)

Ok, so here is a card I also made, for an order...

I have (again!) used the fabulous Secret Garden Bundle and my Stampin' Write! Markers.

I decided to stick with just line images rather than colouring them this time. I used varying shades of pink, and stamped the leaves in 2 different shades of green.

Supplies
Cardstock - Whisper White
Stamps - Secret Garden
Dies - Secret Garden Framelits
Ink (markers) - Pretty in Pink, Pink Pirouette, Regal Rose, Primrose Petals, Certainly Celery, Pear Pizzazz

For Grandma

Good morning!
Wow, the sun is shining here! Looks like it's going to be a lovely day...and I have lots of indoor jobs to do...typical!

Anyway, here is a card for an order for Mother's Day. Sadly, the customer lost both her parents last year and she wants remembrance cards to place in the crematorium so this one is from  her children to her Mum.

I have used Flowering Flourishes stamped with Old Olive, Pink Pirouette, Pretty in Pink, Sahara Sand and Primrose Petals.

I used the Lacy Brocade Embossing folder and some paper from the Paisley Petals DSP pack.

The sentiment is computer generated in Word and I finished with some tiny gems from a nail art set and some pearls.

Supplies
Cardstock - Whisper White
Stamps - Flowering Flourishes
Ink (markers) - Old Olive, Pink Pirouette, Pretty In Pink, Primrose Petals, Sahara Sand
Embossing Folder - Lacy Brocade
Papers - Paisley Petals
