More love in a card!

Good morning!
Ohhh don't you just love lazy Sunday mornings? I don't have them very often, but this morning I don't have to get up until 9am so I shall still be in bed when this post is scheduled to publish!

So yesterday we had the Pinkies Sale-a-Bration blog hop, (if you missed it, you can see my contribution here and follow the hop from there), and today I thought I would follow on from that by using a couple of other items I also got free from the SAB brochure.

This gorgeous Hessian heart and cute, tiny little peg are left over from the banner I made using the free kit I got from SAB. I added a heart which I die cut from the brushed gold card and some of the brand new Gold Bakers Twine.

The sentiment is stamped with Gold Encore onto my Real Red strip of Core'Dinations card stock, which I embossed using one of the Needlepoint Border EFs. The little 'cross stitches' remind me of kisses so I thought they'd be perfect for this card! I sanded over them to show the white core and also round the edges of the strip. All of this was mounted onto a Naturals White card blank.

As this card has quite a lot of texture, I am entering it into the challenge at The Card Concept, and my card style is Clean and Layered (I think!)
I have used the sketch at Less Is More this week to help design my card...

And I am also entering it into the following challenges...

Welcome to t'INKerbelles!!

Good evening!
I am here with a card I made to send to my first downline to welcome her into my team...t'INKerbelles! I have since had another keen crafter join me, and he will be getting a more 'manly' version lol! I just don't know what the male 't'INKerbelle' could be called...

Anyway, the card...

I have used the Hearts A Flutter bundle and the Needlepoint Embossing folder. The sentiment is from the Petite Pairs set.

Not very clear but I wrote under the middle panel. The whole lot is 'sewn' together with Pool Party Bakers Twine.

No challenges for this one...just wanted to share, and to give a huge welcome to my wonderful downlines!!

Right, as my mojo is missing this evening, I'm off for a chill with a cuppa, and to attempt to clear off some of the programs on my Sky+ box...if I can stay awake that is!

Goodnight!

Get Well Soon

Good afternoon!
I have a little get well card here that I made a couple of days ago...

I have used Summer Silhouettes stamp set and stamped it using my markers. I stamped the lattice stamp off onto some scrap paper before stamping onto my card as the colour was very dark.

I then triple stamped the little flowers to give a graduating effect. The main flower was coloured on the stamp using Blushing Bride and I then drew in the lines in Chocolate chip before stamping. The border was made using the Needlepoint embossing folder and I cute round the scallops. I finished with baker's twine and a pearl.

Products used
Cardstock - Whisper White
Ink (markers) - Chocolate Chip, Blushing Bride, Old Olive
Stamps - Summer Silhouettes, Teeny Tiny Sentiments
Ebossing Folders - Honeycomb, Needlepoint
Punch - Word Window
Other - Whisper White Baker's Twine, Pearl

Butterflies in White

Good afternoon!
Wow! We're all in white here in Bolton today! I have even managed to get some lovely pictures in our local park :) I am officially on my day off today, but I'm calling a Snow Day nonetheless!

Ok so with all this white around, it inspired me for this next card I think!

Now I have followed this CASE challenge at Inkspirational

Isn't it a fabby layout?? I couldn't resist having a go myself!
Another view

I have used one of the first Stampin' Up! items I ever bought...the Embosslits Beautiful Wings folder. I love these little butterflies...I always forget I have them!
I have also used some of the Sale-A-Bration designer paper and the new Needlepoint Embossing folders...I love new stuff! ;)

The Sale-A-Bration and NEW Spring/Summer catalogue are available to order from very soon, so I could be ordering them for you, delivered right to your door!

Oh Mittens!

Good evening!
Ooooh it's snowing here! Normally I would be very excited by that, but it may put paid to plans I had this weekend :( Oh well, we shall see...

For now, here is a card using some of my newest goodies! I ummmed and ahhhed over getting this stamp and punch set, but knowing that it won't be available after January, I decided to just get it!

I'm sure you've seen it around, but I'm super glad I got it, even if I am a bit late lol!

Can you see the fab embossing? That is using the brand new Needlepoint Embossing folder from the new Spring/Summer Catalogue, out on February 1st! I used both folders, one on my DP, one on my sentiment.

This was again stamped using my Stampin' Write Markers to colour the stamp before stamping...my fave technique! I love the colours I've used too...unusual for Christmas. My colours were inspired by the challenge at Colour Throwdown this week.

Supplies used on this card
Cardstock - Whisper White
Designer Paper - Comfort Cafe
Markers - Melon Mambo, Pretty In Pink, Pumpkin Pie
Stamps - Make A Mitten, Petite Pairs
Embossing Folders - Needlepoint Border
Punch - Mitten Builder
Other - Whisper White Baker's Twine
