Need a Hug? Monster Hugs for Christmas!

Hello!
Ooooh I have a real treat for you today!
Do you need a hug? Well you can have one from me!
I had my Stampin' Up! delivery on Monday, and in it were some very cute little fellas (and lasses!)

How adorable are they?? And check out their peachy bums too!

Anyway, I decided that I wanted to use them for my son Keiran's Christmas card this year, so here is the card...

And a close up of the little fella...

They are super quick to put together as they are, but of course mine had to be different! I have done a little video tutorial on how to make them into Christmassy monsters...

See? Very easy! And at only £5.50 for 18 they are a bargain too! (click on the pictures above to buy them). I suspect these will be popular at school fairs and on stalls all over the place!

I have decided to enter my card into the sketch challenge at Create With Connie and Mary this week

I hope you enjoyed today's post and hope to see you tomorrow!

A Joyful Poinsettia

Hello!
How are you on this cold and frost morning? Well it is here, but it's a beautiful one!

I had a very productive evening yesterday making some cards for my family and some little gifts for my friends. Here is the card I made for my Mum and Dad for Christmas. (Don't worry, they won't see as they don't read my blog!)

I absolutely love the Poinsettia from the Joyful Christmas set, and I know my Mum loves Poinsettias too so I thought this would be perfect for their card. I stamped it twice in Gold Encore ink and then embossed it in Gold EP before cutting it out.

I then curled the petals for dimension and added Champagne Glass Glitter to the middle. The embossed panel is made using the Pretty Print EF and I used the Lattice Bigz Die behind the flower.

I haven't used Stampin' Up! card as I have a lot of card lying around from before I was a Demo and I need to use it, so please forgive me! You can, of course, re-create this card using card from Stampin' Up!, which you can buy, along with all the other products used in this project, from my online shop here or by clicking on the product pictures below.

Dino Pop-Up!

Hello all!
I feel like all I do lately is apologise for not blogging! It's not that I haven't been crafting, I have! It's just that much of what I am creating has to wait for the recipients to receive the items before I can blog them! I do have one of those commissions here today for you though :)

This is a cute pop-up dinosaur card, using the sadly retired Dinoroar set. I do love this set though so you will still see it around my blog, I'm sure.

I do enjoy making these pop-up cards...and to know they give so much pleasure to the recipients makes it worth the hours it takes to make them! :)

As a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator and owner of my own handmade card business, I find this time of year extremely hectic, what with workshops, crafting parties, card commissions and making my own personal cards and gifts. However, I will soon be back to 'normal' and be able to blog more often, so please bear with me until then!

In the mean time, I am starting my new Stampers 6 club in January, and I only have a couple of slots left, so if you would like to join, please do contact me. You can read all about it here. If you have any questions, again, please do contact me.

I hope you have a lovely day planned...I shall be at work!
Bye for now!
